This resolution aims to adjustment of the bases and the call for the 2013-2014 Edition of the 8th EPEZ program, which seeks to encourage the mobility of graduates recent by the UPV/EHU to companies within the scope of the European Union in order to improve their professional skills, facilitate their employability and, ultimately, to complete their training through business practices in a different cultural environment. The resolution of this announcement is contingent upon the existence of sufficient and appropriate credit.
the program EPEZ VIII shall consist of 65 scholarships for internships in companies of the United Kingdom, Italy, Czech Republic, Portugal, Ireland, Austria and Germany.
this program mobility grants will be considered non-refundable grants, will be awarded under the principles of advertising, competition and objectivity, and will be awarded between applicants through two separate competition procedures, in such a way that according to the assessment criteria and selection processes referred to in the present resolution, will only be awarded to candidates who pass them to cover the number of scholarships is inviting.
the total cost of the program EPEZ is 266.207,80 euros, of which 192.775,80 euros come from the Agency of Leonardo da Vinci, whose call for mobility of 2013 projects was successfully presented as a promoter the Vice-Rectorate of the Campus of Bizkaia and the rest, co-finances them the Department of education, language policy and culture of the Basque Government / Eusko Jaurlaritzain the framework of the lifelong learning programme, and the Vicerrec – torados of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
the maximum number of scholarships to grant in the 2013-2014 program EPEZ 8th Edition will be 65. These scholarships cover the main costs of the stay abroad, such as: travel, training, accommodation, maintenance, management, organization, etc.
persons awarded scholarships will count with a / tutor to host in the country of destination in order to organize and supervise the activities envisaged during stays. These people will deal with the follow-up and evaluation of the stay. Also, each per – sona will be covered by the programme with a / tutor to that will put at your disposal the receiving enterprise in order to monitor the stay at the company and contribute to the fulfilment of the objectives established in practice.
mobility scholarships will last for fourteen weeks, divided into two parts. The first three weeks will be devoted to a course of the respective language according to the place of destination where practices, will develop later while the last eleven will serve to carry out a practice related to studies that the beneficiary person studied. The scholarships will take place from March/April to June / July of 2014.
applicants must meet the requirements that are listed below at the time of making the request:
to) be entitled / of the Basque country (UPV/EHU).
b) have administrative neighborhood in the province of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
c) being unemployed.
d) have demonstrably oral expression ability in the official language of the country of destination or, Alternatively, in English.
e) have less than 30 years.
f) have completed their studies in the academic year 2009-2010 or later, except for those of third cycle.
